FAQs - Reed Diffuser

Q : What is a Reed Diffuser?

A : A Reed Diffuser is a type of fragrance diffuser that typically comes with a glass bottle and a set of reed sticks. The diffuser is designed to release fragrance into the air via the reeds, which are placed in the scented oil in the bottle.

Q : How does the Reed Diffusers work?

A :
The fragrance oil is absorbed by the reeds, which then release the scent into the room. The porous nature of the reeds helps regulate the speed at which the fragrance is released. To enhance the fragrance, add more reeds. To reduce it, remove a few reeds. It is advisable to replace the reeds periodically since they can become saturated and obstructed, reducing their effectiveness. Additionally, when using a new scent, it is recommended to use new reeds

Q : How to use our Reed Diffuser.

A :
Using a reed diffuser is an easy process. Firstly, remove the metal screw cap and plastic plug. Then screw back the metal cap onto the bottle. Next, immerse the reeds in the liquid and allow them to soak up the oil. Once the reeds have absorbed some of the oil, flip them to start releasing the pleasant scent into the air. Our diffuser bottles are designed to hold the right amount of oil, and the size of the opening ensures that the oil does not evaporate but diffuses nicely. To keep the fragrance fresh and pleasant, it is recommended to flip the reeds every few days. However, keep in mind that the more you flip, the faster the oil will evaporate. Diffusers do not require a heat source or a flame to work, making them a safe and convenient option to fill your home with fragrance.

Q : How long does a Reed Diffuser last?

A :
The typical lifespan of our Reed Diffuser is around 120days. Nevertheless, factors like number of reeds inserted, central heating, air conditioning, open and closed doors, and dehumidifiers can impact its longevity.

Q : Where to place the Reed Diffuser?

A :
Air movement and motion in the room can aid in distributing the scent and projecting the fragrance into the air, making it ideal to position the diffuser in a high-traffic area. However, avoid placing the diffuser near an air conditioning unit or outside a door where the fragrance will dissipate quickly. Additionally, placing the diffuser near a radiator can cause the fragrance to evaporate faster, so it's advisable to avoid doing so.

Q : Can I adjust the intensity of the fragrance from a Reed Diffuser?

A :
Yes, you can adjust the intensity of the fragrance from a Reed Diffuser by adding or removing reeds from the bottle. The more reeds you use, the stronger the scent will be.

Q : How often should I flip the reed sticks in a Reed Diffuser?

A :
It is recommended to flip the reed sticks in a Reed Diffuser twice a week to ensure the fragrance continues to diffuse evenly. However, if you find the scent to be too strong, you can reduce the frequency of flipping the reeds.

Q : Are Reed Diffusers safe to use?

A :
Yes, Reed Diffusers are generally safe to use when used as directed. However, it is important to keep them out of reach of children and pets, and to avoid placing them on surfaces that may be damaged by the oil. If you have any concerns or allergies, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider before using a diffuser.

Q : Can I use a Reed Diffuser in a large room?

A :
A Reed Diffuser is best suited for use in a small to medium-sized room. For larger rooms, it may be necessary to use multiple diffusers or to choose a larger size diffuser.

Q : Can I reuse the reed sticks from my Reed Diffuser?

A :

Q : How should I store my Reed Diffuser when not in use?

A :
When not in use, store your Reed Diffuser in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Make sure to keep the bottle upright to prevent oil from spilling or leaking.
